Crayon Box School is strictly aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for Foundational, Preparatory, and Middle Stages, following the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) pattern. Our curriculum blends CBSE academic standards with progressive experiential and Reggio Emilia pedagogical practices.

In Kindergarten (Nursery & KG), there is strictly zero written homework. In Classes 1 to 5, home assignments are limited to enjoyable reading, family conversations, and light curiosity tasks (max 20–30 minutes). In Middle School (Classes 6–8), homework consists of meaningful project research, math practice, and reading reflections designed to cultivate independent study habits without overwhelming family evenings.

We maintain an intimate 1:15 ratio in foundational years and a maximum of 1:20 ratio in primary and middle school. In kindergarten sections, every classroom has both a Lead Educator and an Assistant Mentor, ensuring every child receives individualized attention, warmth, and care.

Because of our low teacher-student ratio, educators notice learning gaps early. We offer built-in Zero-Period Remedial Circles during school hours where concepts are re-explained using different modalities (visual, tactile, or peer discussion), eliminating the need for outside commercial coaching.

English is the primary medium of instruction. Hindi is taught with equal pride and grammatical depth from foundational grades. In Middle School (Class 6 onwards), students can choose a third language option (such as Sanskrit or introductory French) to foster polyglot cultural agility.

Parents receive weekly learning glimpses and photo portfolios through our secure parent portal. Formal comprehensive Parent-Teacher Interactions (PTMs) occur quarterly, while urgent questions can always be addressed via WhatsApp helpline or scheduled educator coffee mornings.
